Gravette, Arkansas is a city in Benton County northwest of Fayetteville. Originally known as Nebo, the settlement was platted in 1879. In 1899 Gravette was incorporated, named for Ellis Gravell who ran a distillery and general store in the community. In 2012 Gravette annexed Hiwasse. There are approximately 3,300 people living in Gravette.
